How to Document Oral Histories of a Historic Place - Missouri Theater

  • Columbia Public Library 100 West Broadway Columbia, MO, 65203 United States (map)

In this workshop, you'll work with Trevor Harris to preserve the life story of a local landmark. In this three-hour workshop, you'll learn the basics of preserving oral histories, and audio and video capture. Then, you'll help conduct an actual interview with a longtime Columbian with ties to the Missouri Theatre preservation effort.  Through his business the Recollection Agency, Trevor Harris works with clients to capture and preserve life stories of their family elders.

This event is co-sponsored by Daniel Boone Regional Library.
